2002-01-15: HexaLock, Ltd. announces the release of HexaLock CD-ROM Auto Lock Utility, Version 1.0Shefayim, Israel, January 15, 2002 – Hexalock, Ltd., a leader in CD-ROM copy protection technology and digital rights management solutions announced today the release of version 1.0 of its Auto Lock Utility for CD-ROM Copy Protection solutions. The HexaLock Auto Lock Utility is easy to implement, while at the same time, offering excellent copy protection. It is designed specifically for developers and publishers who work in high level development program environments.
“Based on feedback from content owners and publishers, upon the release of our CD-ROM Copy protection Software Development Kit (SDK) we recognized the need for the addition of an Auto Lock Utility,” said Eyal Cohen, Chief Technology Officer, HexaLock, Ltd. “For those publishers who do not wish to integrate HexaLock copy protection within their source code this provides the ideal solution.”
“The Auto Lock Utility is particularly well suited for use in development environments such as Macromedia Director or Visual Basic,” said John Stevens, Vice President, Business Development, HexaLock, Ltd. “There is no need for programmer intervention when using the Auto Lock Utility. The publisher simply selects the program files to be protected from a dropdown menu. The Utility contains all the necessary tools for the publisher to create a HexaLock Process gold master to send to his authorized replicator.”
